What follows is my customary fic exchange tl;dr; feel free to disregard, turn prompts upside-down and inside-out, or mix and match whatever you like! Also, lots and lots of consent issues prompts follow; if that's not your bag, steer clear.

EDIT 2/23/20: I want to be clear up-front that my selected warnings on the AO3 signup are very much "archive warnings I'd be happy with receiving", not prescribing that I must somehow get all of them! I write a lot of CNTW fic and I am also happy with fic that falls into the nebulous zone of all the reasons why people use CNTW.

Likes:

- historical details, material culture, pop culture for the era the fic is set in
- allegiances and loyalty (especially loyalty kink!)
- dreams and nightmares (dream sex is a+)
- psychological horror
- gothic horror (mystery, wonder, and the macabre, decaying old houses, ancestral curses, family secrets, etc.)
- claustrophobia, doubt, guilt, decay
- trauma and PTSD, memory and personal baggage
- friends-to-lovers, allies-to-friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers-while-remaining-enemies
- agonized pining both reciprocated and unreciprocated
- hurt/comfort -- one or more parties getting tragically roughed up or whumped to hell and back and needing stoic ministrations, h/c where a rough or unpleasant person is the recipient of the comfort whether they like it or not, h/c where a villain is doing the comforting (for mindfucky sinister reasons or otherwise)
- sex happening before feelings and then feelings show up to the party and make everything weird
- characters who just can't stay away from each other
- infidelity -- guilt, rationalizations, the thrill of the forbidden (anything but demonization of any canon love interests being cheated on)
- conversely, I'm fine with open relationships/background relationships/"x and y are on a break"/anything to facilitate characters boning down with people other than their canon love interests so long as it's not character assassination of said love interests

Smut Likes:

(feel free to mix and match with any exchange tags!)

- size differences
- age differences
- aggressive inexperienced characters
- body worship
- blowjobs and cunnilingus, handjobs, frottage and non-penetrative sex
- clothed/semi-clothed sex, or where only one party is naked
- fancy clothes, uniforms, layers, dressing and undressing
- hatesex and fighting-turned-fucking, arguments, verbal abuse, insults, physical roughhousing and wrestling
- erectile dysfunction
- breathplay
- inhibitions and interpersonal baggage in the bedroom
- anonymous or pseudo-anonymous hookups
- painful/clumsy but fun and tender sex, OR, tragically clumsy fail sex
- wound fingering/wound fucking/kinking on the pain and power involved in historical medicine
- sexy use/misuse of magic powers
- rope bondage
- caning and flogging
- characters with physical imperfections (scars, bad joints, body parts that won't necessarily cooperate)
- characters seeking sex for comfort
- sadomasochism, pain, rough body play -- grabbing/shoving/yanking/hitting/punching/etc.
- smoking/sharing cigarettes/cigarette burns
- drug and alcohol use (relaxation and altered states of consciousness during sex as well as substance abuse and dependency)
- time-period-specific sexual practices and meeting places.
- head-shaving or hair-cutting, especially nonconsensual/dubiously consensual or degrading/clinical hair-cutting -- I don't know how to work this into any of my fandoms this year but if you'd like to write it I'd love to read it.
- noncon and dubcon -- especially fucked-up sexual bargaining, villains menacing protagonists, dark!protagonists menacing villains, antagonistic characters mutually attempting to dubcon one another

Consent Issues Likes:

I appreciate a focus on difficult/complicated emotions and experiences and the conflicted side of dubcon, especially antagonistic or psychologically muddled angles and characters making difficult bargains using sex. Characters having sex they don't uncomplicatedly desire but that they believe will help them achieve some goal, or a character agreeing to sex with someone they hate who doesn't know that that character is planning to undermine them, or a character being attracted to the other character(s) but only consenting to sex due to despair or their usual inhibitions being compromised, for instance. For noncon I especially like to read about horror, discomfort, resistance, self-disgust, and anger on the victim's side, or in cases where the situation is less overtly violating, sneaky guilt and other creepy-crawly feelings of shame and pleasure -- for perpetrator attitudes I like reading about hatred, mixed feelings, obsessive love, contempt, or anything else that might fit the character/scenario. I'm less into ravishment tropes where the rape is a pure pretext to initiate sex the victim sincerely desires, rape by animals/monsters/inanimate objects, or scenarios where afterward the rape is a non-issue.

DNWs: Self-harm due to psychological distress, eating disorders, child sexual abuse, unrequested incest, teacher/student sex, pregnancy kink/expansion and inflation/oviposition, omegaverse/BDSM AUs, focus on coming-out or trans characters transitioning, characters having sex for supposedly nonsexual reasons like practice for sex with somebody else, "no, no, yes yes yes"-type ravishment noncon, urban fantasy werewolf tropes like packs and alphas, scat. (Piss is fair game.) I'd rather not read explicit sex with characters under 16.

All my prompts are for fic, but if you have a hankering to make smutty art as the accompaniment to a fic or as a treat I would be thrilled to receive it; my art likes are here in my NoFM 2019 letter.

The King (2019)
- Henry V of England/The Dauphin

(This film is streaming on Netflix if you want to pick up a quick and ridic canon!)

● Wound Fingering ● Transactional Sex ● Undernegotiated Kink ● Agreeing to Rough Sex as Self-punishment ● Antagonism Leads to Sex ● Bruising ● Character Study Through Porn ● Medical Kink ● Clearly the Fact That We Keep Having Sex Is a Series of Unrelated Bad Decisions ● Confessions During Sex ● Coping with past Trauma from Rape Through Sex ● Crown Kink ● Crying During Sex ● Dubcon - Character a Initiates Sex to Punish Themselves ● Dubcon - Trading Sex for Safety Even Though Safety Would Be Offered Anyway ● Dubcon Sexual Relationship Develops Feelings ● Dubiously Consensual Loyalty Kink ● Enemies to Enemies Who Fuck ● Enemies to Lovers ● Enemies with Benefits ● Face Slapping ● Fainting During Sex ● Fealty ● Fear Kink ● Fever Sex ● Fleeting Moment of Unexpected Tenderness in the midst of Hate Sex ● Forced During Sex to Admit to past Trauma ● Forced to Kneel ● Fuckbuddies Who Develop Feelings ● Hair Kink ● Hair-pulling ● Hate Sex Turns Unexpectedly Tender ● Wrestling ● Ruining the Mood for Your Own Amusement

- The Dauphin is a total pillow princess, Hal has to use sex to get the upper hand over him, Alternately, Hal is kind of fucked up and hard-to-please and the Dauphin's attempts to set the mood and get stuff going between the two of them approach slightly deranged levels. Any kind of sex prelude involving the trappings of power and fealty would make me happy, and anything maintaining the uneasy balance between the two of them as obvious pitched enemies trying to figure each other out and the two of them as fancy-schmancy royalty who in another life might be allies or more. If you're interested in a historical divergence, feel free to write Hal fleeing to France (either in a hell of a hurry or under the pretense that he's building some allegiance there for his father) and falling in with the Dauphin outside the context of warmaking, or some alternate way they might meet, maybe if Richard II was never deposed (or ended up back on the throne, bad news for Henry IV) and foists Hal off on the French royal family as a way of building that allegiance up without war.

- BATHE HIM AND BRING HIM TO ME. From either direction, honestly, in any kind of canon-divergent scenario you need to make that shit happen. I would prefer no "m/m and f/f marriage is totally legal and interchangeable with m/f marriage" AUs but if you want to write arranged sworn-brother scenarios, thinly veiled hostage-taking, concubinage, or anything else in conjunction with this I would be happy to read it. Luxe medieval material culture (clothing, furniture, bedding!) and fancy medieval lube a definite plus.

- Chalamet's Hal has such big sad eyes and I'd love to see him be tormented, sexually -- either in a noncon/dubcon, fucked-up way or in a deeply needed and wanted but deeply emotionally fucky, undernegotiated way. I want him to get railed by the Dauphin and, hey, anyone else you feel like throwing into the mix, and I'd love to see him getting roughed up before sex or getting his exhausted battle-wearied and bruised body worked over. Conversely, I'd love to see the Dauphin all whumped and semi-unhinged -- sexy hostage? spoil of war? being detained For His Own Good(™)? -- and getting his literal sore spots prodded at and/or fingered. Gross medieval medicine a bonus.

- I find the Dauphin's super off-kilter sense of humor and his cheerful cruelty wildly hot, so if you want to fold that into fic even when he's the one being dubconned/nonconned or where he's doing the tormenting I would be really into it. Wicked but mostly just slightly unhinged princes are my character-type kryptonite -- on the flipside, if you would like to write a more cooperative relationship between these two, I'd love Louis being Hal's pet sociopath and being cheerfully inappropriate in bed.

- HENRY V'S DADDY ISSUES: ENGAGE. For everything else the French royal family has going on in the film/RL era (awkward dynastic shuffling, being made of glass, being framed for the sending of dastardly French assassins) it at least seems like the Dauphin and his father have a reasonably okay relationship relative to whatever the hell Henry and Hal have going on. Anything you can do to have Hal's hangups with his dad, messed-up family politics, the specter of Richard II's deposition (IRL Richard was married to one of Louis' sisters, which Catherine is certainly aware of even if nobody else in the film will verbalize it, and historically Henry IV thought long and hard about marrying Isabella off to Hal for political reasons in the immediate aftermath) or the whole sexy medieval leprosy thing, I would love. If you're down for it, I love fucked-up Henry IV/Hal as a background element, either as a more mutual (but still destructive) thing in Hal's past, and any element of that either as something that Hal discloses or just something in his mental periphery would make me happy.

Fandom-specific DNW: characterizing Richard II as sexually abusive; Henry IV/Henry V where the relationship begins when Hal is <16.

A Field In England (2014)
- O'Neil/Whitehead

● Abuse of Authority ● Alcohol Enema ● Bath Houses ● Biting ● Blow Jobs ● Body Hair ● Boot-kissing ● Clothed/Naked ● Dirty Talk ● Dreams - Dream Imagery and Symbolism ● Drugged Sex ● Drunk Sex ● Face Slapping ● Fainting During Sex ● Fear Kink ● Fever Sex ● Forced to Kneel ● Gunplay ● Humiliation ● Injured Sex ● Knifeplay ● Leather ● Love Potion/Spell ● Manhandling ● Masochism ● Mutual Blackmail ● Mutual Dubcon ● Mutual Manipulation ● Non-consensual Bondage ● Pain Kink ● Painful Anal Sex ● Rape/Non-con Elements ● Ritual Requires Noncon ● Ritual Sex ● Sadism ● Seduction as Revenge on Third Party ● Sex as a Torture Technique ● Sex While Possessed ● Sexual Hallucinations ● Sexual Torture ● Transactional Sex ● Witchcraft

- Altered states of consciousness! mushroom-induced or otherwise, delve into Early Modern psychedelia and make things horny and weird. What might Whitehead do with O'Neill at his mercy, or vice versa? Anything with the folk horror-y landscape of the film and the physical trappings of the mundanely magical coming into play during sex -- inappropriate uses of magical objects? sex while that giant stuffed alligator hanging from the ceiling is watching you? -- or alternately the down and dirty milieu of that titular field.

- One or the other of them gets reluctantly (or triumphantly) enlisted into freaky folk horror of your choosing -- communion with ancient gods? visitations by legendary kings? human sacrifice? Smut can be incorporated into the folk-horror elements or incidental to it, but I am very horny for weird Early Modern atmosphere and what everybody is wearing.

- AU where O'Neill enlists Whitehead into a mutiny against their master, using sex as part of the leverage against him. What does O'Neill make of Whitehead's slightly pathetic loyalty, and what is Whitehead getting out of the study of magic? What does their master have over Whitehead? what goes into Whitehead's sense of loyalty, anyway, and how does O'Neill get under his skin? All the backstory drama there happens offscreen given the nature of the film, but I'd love a fic that explores all the internal politics of the world of alchemy as the war roils around them and they bone down.

- Pre-canon, their master expects them to take certain liberties with one another and one or the other is only too happy to oblige while the other is less stoked. Or are they both equally stoked for complicated slightly arcane reasons? Feel free to do a John Dee-style "I swear, angelic messengers say we have to have sex, wink wink" bluff or have very real supernatural interference that's putting the two of them in a compromising position. If quasi-supernatural sex magic isn't your thing, I'd love the mundane kinds of forced proximity (bed-sharing?) and sexual exploitation that service in the same Early Modern household can lend itself to.

- Write all kinds of terrible nonconny things happening to Whitehead, with or without the influence of psychedelics -- non-sexual but nonconsensual mistreatment is also just fine in addition to any sex that occurs, I love the canonical use of him as a human dowsing rod and would love any other gnarly mistreatment that forces him into the role of service. If you want to turn the tables and have Whitehead pressing O'Neil for his own purposes, I would love that too.

Arthurian Mythology

- Arthur Pendragon/Mordred

● Accidentally Hurting Partner More than Intended During Consensual Rough Sex ● Antagonism Leads to Sex ● Body Contrast Kink ● Character a Sits in Character B's Lap and They Make Out ● Character a Thinks They're Seducing Character B but It's Actually the Other Way Around ● Chivalry ● Clandestine "We Shouldn't Be Doing This" Sex ● Clearly the Fact That We Keep Having Sex Is a Series of Unrelated Bad Decisions ● Crown Kink ● Dream Sex ● Dream Sex- Character Uses Dream to Change Appearance● Dreams - Dream Imagery and Symbolism ● Dubcon - Shapeshifter Takes Someone Else's Form ● Enemies to Enemies Who Fuck ● Forced to Kneel ● Hate Sex Turns Unexpectedly Tender ● Incest ● Incest - Only One Party Know They're Related (and Is Guiltily Kinking on It) ● Infidelity ● Injured Sex ● Licking Away Partner's Tears While They Fuck ● Loyalty Kink ● Masochism ● Mental Health Issues ● Mutual Dubcon ● Secret Relationship ● Seduction to the Dark Side ● Sex as an Assertion of Dominance ● Sex While Possessed ● Sexual Hallucinations ● Taking out One's Issues on Partner During Sex ● Thigh Worship ● This Entire Relationship Is a Bad Fucking Idea ● Twisted Display of Affection ● Under-negotiated Kink ● Witchcraft ● Wound Care ● Wound Fingering ● Wrestling

I am a simple soul, I like medieval material culture and I like bad guys and I love fucked-up unwitting (or semi-unwitting) incest. Feel free to incorporate any other Arthurian elements or specific texts you care for into this fic; my preferred Mordred parentage is as the product of rape by deception rather than innocently accidental incest, but as long as you lean into that fucked-up-ness, I will be happy. I love awful anarchic naughty shit Mordred, I love creepy emotionless death machine Mordred, I like technically-terrible-but-makes-the-trains-run-on-time Mordred, eerie pretty-boy Mordred, and any other characterization or physical appearances you wanna bring to the table. I would prefer no full-on "Arthur is evil, Mordred is totally good actually" role reversal, though deeply flawed Arthur/Mordred with some legitimate points about the validity of medieval kingship is fine and dandy.

- Arthur and Mordred have to have sex for reasons -- spells, shapeshifting, somebody else's evil schemes -- and fall into a pattern where they can't seem to give it up. This can be joined with the unwitting/semi-witting incest element, where one or the other of them knows their connection but goes ahead anyway, or be undertaken with total awareness of their familial relationship. If you want to throw in your favorite weird Arthurian sex predicaments or some gratuitous medieval kinks (bondage, enforced obedience, fun stuff with clothing/armor, whatever) feel free.

- Sex that's incredibly long on depressing foregone conclusions and foreshadowing -- if you want to write either of them having ominous premonitions or anticipating future conflicts while they're doing the deed, that's my favorite thing on the planet earth. I also love rampant creepiness during sex -- either Mordred being unable to keep whatever his specific flavor of uncanniness is from creeping out between the sheets, or Arthur being surprisingly fucked-up because after all, he's been through a lot of weird shit. I'd love weird gestures of tenderness between the two of them, sex crying that neither of them knows how to rationalize away but by which both of them are deeply gratified,

- Mordred knows King Arthur is his hated enemy, but he doesn't know that this hot older man is King Arthur. Arthur does, and he's under the impression that he can manage this situation or unfuck Mordred's effective programming… but things immediately go weird and sex-shaped instead, oops.

- Mordred is determined to seduce Arthur, either as an effective assignment from an especially wicked Morgause or for his own personal twisted reasons, and isn't super picky about how he does so. Out-and-out noncon, fucked-up sexual bargains, or consensual sex that's just a terrible idea are all welcome, but I would be a huge sucker for Mordred leveraging the language and motifs of chivalry against Arthur or in general being a manipulative and violent creep.

- Dream sex -- or is it???? (Hallucination sex also very welcome.)
