Yuletide ahoy!

First batch of semi-recs, delivered in brief, beginning with my own amazing gift-fic:
like brambles to the cedars (Thomas Of Woodstock, can be read as 14th century RPF if you like!) Really really lovely fic about a young, newly-married, newly-"Englished" Anne of Bohemia, her many virtues, and some sweet Czech songs.
And on to the rest, in no particular order!
It's A Terrible Reign (14th century historical RPF, John of Gaunt-centric) Gaunt receives a rather un-festive visitation showing how his reign might have gone if he'd ever had the crown himself. (spoilers: probably way badly. Also, willy rot.)
such is the breath of kings, Richard II fic dealing with the way events unfold at the end of the play for Aumerle in the RSC version.
Loyalty Binds Me (15th century RPF, Richard III.) This adorable dip, I swear.
The Not Entirely Accurate Chronicle of John Polidori, Genius Physician and Brilliant Writer, and His Rather Less Distinguished Companions This is exactly what you think it is AND IT IS SWELL.
Rosy-Fingered Selene, Classical RPF. Sappho! Sappho meeting Aphrodite and experiencing a touch of divinity.
Reunion Of Broken Parts, Demon Knights, Horsewoman and Al-Jabr-centric but with the whole gang present; I've been dying for DK-crew-in-modern-day fic and this is beautiful and subtle and clever.
Necessary Moments, The Sparrow. 'Some lost vignettes from the life of Emilios Sandoz, the 21st Century saint who was the first human to set foot on Rakhat.' I so dug this.
Shy Gazelle (Brideshead Revisited, specifically the 2008 version though not quite specific to it) I might have a tiny bias for this one because I got to beta it, but I dug it.
The Velvetskynn(tm) Rabbit, which is... The Velveteen Rabbit pastiched with sex toys. It's the kind of fic that only gets written at Yuletide.
Springtime For Krieger, Archer fic with CYBORG CHERYL and it is hysterical.
Pendergast Family Lore, an Easy A fic concerning how Olive's parents meet after what's teased at in canon. I found it super endearing and fulfilling and funny.
