For Harrow/Khonshu, I’d love anything exploring their past together, both the things that brought them together (wtf was Harrow’s actual job when he got recruited for Moon Knighting around?) and whatever escalation split them apart. This is freely just one of those villain/hero badtouch pairings I hold so dear — I really enjoy the way Payne saunters into Jay’s life like some kind of randomly-encountered benefactor or new friend when in fact his plans for him and Silas (and ultimately for Rose and her father) are perfectly ruthless. He’s Silas’ own creepy former mentor, a dark parallel of what Silas could allow himself to become, and he’s only a half-step above an outlaw himself in a way that contrasts with Jay’s much more humane bravery. A lot of my tags skew more dubcon-to-noncon but if you want to write something less dysfunctional with these two, absolutely feel free.
Something where Payne’s gang hang on to Jay once they’ve encountered him (rip-roaringly drunk and disoriented) in the woods, using him as a tool against the Rosses or a guide to where they’re hiding out? Something where it’s Payne in the first place who takes Jay under his wing for not-very-altruistic purposes, teasing his youthful inexperience and fucking him silly in the process, or where he rounds Jay up with intent to return him to his parents? I’m interested in any kind of speculative meeting between these two, pre-s4 or in a s4 AU where Hopper doesn’t end up in Russia (or, idk, s4 AU where Eddie also ends up in Russia) or postcanon with Eddie surviving or coming back from the grave only to run smack-dab into Hawkins’ #1 daddy bear. I’m absolutely down for fucked-up versions of this pairing, from the lightest shades of dubcon to serious dark!character territory, but I also enjoy the thought of these two building a connection and rapport with one another that’s less disastrous. Something where Eddie’s a hustler on the side and Hopper’s hooking up with him in a messy post-Starcourt relapse into his old coping habits? Postapoc survival situation sex in what remains of Hawkins? I love Eddie mouthy, messy, and a little grimy even when he’s good-hearted and trying his best, and I’d be lying if I said a big part of the appeal of this tiny crackship to me is the potential for Eddie playing with fire where authority is concerned and for Hopper to come to a fuller understanding of this long-haired dope-dealing punk kid. (And his daddy issues. Which Eddie will never admit to.) Misunderstandings, animosity, and genuinely being on the wrong sides of the law from one another are great, but I’d also love to see these two having to work together or hooking up on happier terms. H/c going either direction, casual sex, switching, secret hookups, glad-to-be-alive adrenaline-fueled sex that becomes wildly awkward afterward with the prospect of the Party finding out…
